Did I just hear the institutional match is not required? If so, will this be passed on to the institutions in writing since the agreement that is signed states we must have the match.

52:46
Yes. We'll be sending something out to each participating campus this week.

52:54
Thank you

01:17:22
One additional comment on ECE AID - they will only accept referrals from HEIs or other organizations and don't accept transcripts submitted by students directly

01:17:33
Can we use Recruitment allocation to pay for WES or ECE credential evaluation? I know that ECE AID is free.

01:17:53
ECE Aid should be for free as long as they have fee waivers available

Overview of Credential Evaluation services https://www.higheredimmigrationportal.org/effective_practice/credential-evaluation-for-refugee-students/

01:18:12
and it is the same service as their general credential evaluation

01:21:17
For documentation on "Displaced Student" category. Item two states "submitted US asylum application." Does the application need to be approved?

01:21:21
Or just submitted

01:21:49
Additionally, given the sensitivity of the documents handled. Are there any guidelines for document management compliance for storage of said documents?

01:22:11
Thank you for the clarification

01:22:21
One more comment on WES Gateway, it is limited to certain student populations: WES works with designated partners to identify individuals who are eligible for the Gateway Program. The program is available to individuals educated in Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, and Venezuela, who meet program requirements.

01:25:49
Sorry if this has already been discussed but I wanted to make sure our team got it on the notes: Are there any best practices/ideas for reaching out to individuals in these situations? Can anyone speak to successful and inclusive approaches to disseminating information about opportunities like this opportunity? We want to be very intentional on how we identify students who would qualify for this pilot.

01:26:51
Great question, Priscilla.
